The Star Wars saga has a lot of epic battles. One of the most famous battles is called the Battle of Endor. This happened in Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi and was the turning point of the battle between the rebel alliance and the Galactic Empire. This was also where the Ewoks were introduced, the small and cute furry creatures indigenous to the forest of Endor that helped turn the tide in the battle to destroy the shield generator of the new Death Star. To commemorate this momentous battle in the saga, LEGO introduced the LEGO Star Wars The Battle of Endor play set.

Features of the Lego Star Wars Battle of Endor Set

The LEGO Star Wars play set includes the bunker where the controls for the shield generator is located, an AT-ST scout walker, 2 speeder bikes, an Ewok catapult, an Ewok glider, and twelve minifigures. The bunker has an actual sliding door and an explosion action where one can mimic the turning point of the battle where the shield generator is destroyed allowing the rebel alliance attack force to destroy the second Death Star and ultimately see the beginning of the fall of the Emperor Palpatine's Galactic Empire. The bunker has a base measurement of 10 inches by 7.5 inches. The scout walker is 7.5 inches tall and has a walking action making the scene more interactive to play with.

The catapult has a firing action allowing the Ewoks to fight against the AT-ST walker. The glider which can be attached to an Ewok allows them to fly over the battlefield and drop rocks on the enemy. One can recreate the high speed chase through the forest of Endor seen in the movie with the use of the speeder bikes.

The minifigures included are Princess Leia, Hans Solo, R2-D2, Chewbacca, 3 Ewoks, 2 Rebel Commandos, 2 Scout troopers, and one Death Star trooper. With this minifigures and Star Wars legos, one would not have any trouble recreating the epic battle and see the beginning of the end of the evil empire.
